Startup Partnerships & Operations Leader
from
Florida
I am a 6x startup veteran with 2 IPOs (Avalara, Apptio) and 1 acquisition by a Fortune 100 (Odin→ Ingram Micro). I have founded two startups (312 Society, MoneyBuff) and Pitcht, a marketing firm for startups. I have 15+ years of experience in the technology industry with a focus on scaling emerging technologies and making them mainstream. I delivered one of the first digital strategies at Deloitte and built one of the first front-end applications of Microsoft Health Vault.
Some recent career highlights are establishing the operational foundation to drive and scale global adoption and 900% growth of the Avalara Included program, a $XXM+ ARR initiative and designing and launching the Avalara for Startups program, which reached 7x the user sign-up goal within 3 months.
I have mentored, advised and coached hundreds of startups around the world as a Techstars mentor, University of Washington Business Plan Competition judge and coach, and other leadership roles in the startup ecosystem.
I have held coveted civic leadership roles, including Leadership Tomorrow in Seattle and the Anti-Defamation League Glass Leadership Institute.
I am a former elite swimmer–I was ranked top 5 in the U.S. in 100 yard breaststroke in 1995, competed internationally and swam at a top-ranked NCAA program.
